2. well it HAS snowed HERE in April before
but it didn't stick and I'm at 4500 feet. The Phx metro area should be generally gorgeous, if not even a bit too warm, mid day, for strenuous exercise.

We've had decent moisture this year - do try to get out of town and see the wildflowers.

3. I'll be heading down your way tomorrow or so...
...but on the California side of the border, mainly, and at lower elevation for the most part. I'm camping, and have no interest in self-righteous suffering on this trip, so it's warm washes and canyon bottoms for me! Gotta go change the tires on the mountain bike! :woohoo:

5. Really?
I'm flattered! I don't go in that forum or even pay much attention to the contests because I am on such horribly slow dial-up. :-(

I can look at a few pix at a time but big threads with lots just take too long to load.

6. Well yes
dial up is a problem with pics. I just switched over to DSL about 6 months ago! WOWEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you can afford it, I strongly encourage you to do so. Then you could participate in the fun photo contests and stuff :toast:
