Did you ever think about it?

1. My dear Haole Girl...
I guess I've never thought of it that way...

But perhaps you could. Maybe it's something like a mind-altering experience...?

You must be awfully tired, esp. after the week you've had...

5. Hi Peggy
I'm too tired tonight to do much of anything. Haven't felt like this since I went to India.

To say I've had a mind-altering experience would be accurate. No, more like mind blowing. Thanks for the hug.

2. yes it can be
I've been tired enough to fall asleep standing up and in mid-conversation (the joys of parenting a badly acid refluxing newborn), and it can definitely put you in almost a drunken stupor when it's bad enough.

4. Oh yeah. No question about it.
I remember some of the days I put in in the Army. I'd be totally worn out from a long, exhausting workday. I'd come back to my barracks room, lay down on the bed and close my eyes, and I'd feel a dizzy, spinning sensation just as if I was plowed. The good thing was, when the feeling wore off, no hangover... :hangover:

8. True enough
No hangover is good. I hate hangovers. And, fortunately or unfortunately, I get them if I drink too much.

11. Well, I've discovered
that alcohol, taken in sufficient quantities, produces all the effects of drunkenness... :P

10. I hate exhaustion. It is nothing like being intoxicated. Being intoxicated is fun.

Being exhausted is really uncomfortable.
