my friend's daughter was diagnosed w/ cancer yesterday

The daughter is the same age as my son. It's a malignancy in her leg. The doc says "it's the good kind" which I assume means very treatable.

11. One of my friend's daughter just got diagnosed with ovarian cancer at age 32

This woman's son had cancer several years ago, and tests this week show that it has returned. So now, she has two kids with cancer.

I feel for your friend and my friend. It's such a heavy load to carry for any mother.
