I blew the cashier's mind |
|
So I'm buying groceries and the total comes to $65.91. Being the helpful sort, I hand him $81.01. He takes the twenties and the penny but hands the single back to me muttering that he doesn't need it. So I stand there holding the single while he counts out $14.10. :banghead: As he's handing me the change, the light bulb finally goes on. He eventually gets it sorted out but I'm telling you, if I was any kind of flim-flam artist, I probably could have taken him for $20 while that till was open.

1. That example at least requires thought. The ones that slay me are the folks who |
|
can't give change from a $20 bill for $16.40.

2. I just hate walking around with extra change |

In an ideal world, I would never have more than four pennies or three quarters in my pocket or more than four singles in my wallet (well, I guess there are exceptions to that last one).
