BREAKING: San Jose (CA) man arrested for literally "springing forward" on Daylight Savings Time Eve

CNN, SAN JOSE CA - San Jose mail carrier Augustus McCrae was beaten, tasered and handcuffed by San Jose Police in front of a local Blockbuster Video store for literally "springing forward" while setting his watch an hour ahead in anticipation of Daylight Savings Time.

San Jose Police representatives declined to comment for this story.

Blockbuster employee Newt Dobbs, who witnessed the incident through the store's front window, said "I just saw this mailman coming down the sidewalk, and he was playing around with his watch, and then yelled "AHA!" and jumped up in the air, and when he landed he was nose-to-nose with a cop. The cop took out his billy club and hit him a few times on the head until he hit the sidewalk, then tasered him. I could hear him yelling the mother-effer word too. And he was kicking him. I think he might have peed on him too. I'm not sure because I had to wait on a customer just as it was happening. When the mailman passed out, he handcuffed him and threw him in the back of the squad car and drove off. At least I think he passed out. He might have killed him. There was a lot of blood and other fluids on the sidewalk. Took me an hour to hose it all down."

4. I've heard of that guy, never actually heard him...

...and that was definitely a trip. Sad to learn that he's no longer with us...his Wikipedia entry (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Klaus_Nomi) referred to him as "...one of the first celebrities to contract AIDS. He died in 1983 at the age of 39 as a result of complications from the disease."
