What drink do you most frequently order in bars?

Mine's the Gin & Tonic. Simple, smooth, classy, doesn't stain, welcome on cold nights and warm afternoons alike.

13. Now that's a problem
I would try to sound snooty and say I don't go to establishments where that would be the best offer, but that wouldn't be exactly true.

I would probably default to the gin & tonic at that point. I was going to say a nice glass of wine, but if their best beer is Bud light...

40. Draft beer.
I'm currently so far from actual CIVILIZATION
that the best I can get is Yeungling Black-n-Tan....
As far as my wwweb-research can tell, I'm 2 States
away from the nearest draft pint of genuine room-temp Guiness.

I used to be a big Gin & tonic fan back in my twenties;
insisted upon the REAL 'tonic water' with quinine....
But I overdid it abit during a wild weekend, almost died,
and haven't been able to stand the smell of gin ever since.

51.  a bar? people still go to those places?
I've never understood that.

Of course, I don't drink, don't smoke (not that that matters as much these days, depending on the local laws), hate loud music, and don't much like trying to socialize with people I don't know.

I'm also not single, and none of my friends care about hanging out in bars.

I think their take on it is, why go to a bar and pay 5x more for a drink we can make at home and have in a comfortable environment with people we actually like without being deafened?

60. I order different drinks at different bars/times.
When I'm at the track, I usually get a bourbon and soda; sometimes a beer. When I go out to lunch I often get 1 martini followed by a beer. If I'm drinking in the evening, after dinner, I often get a bourbon on the rocks. As a nightcap, I might get an Irish coffee. So, I guess it depends.
