I read the book some time ago, pretty grim stuff.

I just don't think Leonardo DeCaprio is a good enough or old enough actor to play the part of Frank.

There is something missing, some real passion that just didn't make it onto the screen.

He's like our generation's version of Jan Michael Vincent, who was still playing "the Kid" in his late 40s.
