Was called into a meeting just prior to leaving. The previous manager didn't like the "stress" of managing an office full of twenty-somethings and went back to his old pressman's job. I get the promotion and an increase in pay by app. one-third of my current salary.
I should be excited, but I'm not... maybe my first bank statement with the extra cash will help titillate my deadened synapses. :shrug:

Sounds as though you weren't looking for this promotion, and yet, here it is...
I hope that you'll find it very exciting, and not just because of the money!

You may find it is, & that could explain why this mgr. stepped down..
but YOU will have a totally different management style, perspective, attitude, sense of humor, all KINDS of skills & talents uniquely YOURS.
I bet YOU will motivate the 'kids", increase the FUN *AND* production,
& make this new position completely *YOURS*..Goood luck & enJOY! :applause:
