Pasta dish of choice?

15. oh yes. First time I had this was in Venice.

Absolutely incredible, and honestly, haven't had a dish as good as the one from Italy since. Sigh.

What kind of choices are these? Not even a bolognese sauce? Fah! :P

Anyway, my current favorite is at this little Italian place near my house, where they take homemade linguine and toss it inside a giant cheese wheel. Add a little cracked pepper and it's just unbelievable. But I voted for "Glenn Beck is an asshole," because that was the choice I was most comfortable with.

My personal favorite is a spaghetti in a GOOD bolognese sauce, rather than marinara.

7. Actually, my personal favorite is spinach&feta ravioli with olive oil and fresh herbs.

It goes great with merlot. But hey, that's just me.

12. Cannelloni

Hot from the oven with the sauce and cheese still bubbling in the dish. That, plus a nice crust of toasted/seared cheese on top. Sometimes, the cannelloni pasta is replaced with a crêpe. I like that variation but, technically, I guess it's no longer a pasta dish.
