Woke up this morning, opened my shades to the back window, and there was a ball... |
|
...of about 20 snakes writhing around each other under my window. Spring has arrived!

1. One person's nightmare is another's springtime lullaby. |

3. Well if they're writhing, you probably don't have to worry about them getting inside |
|
that open and vulnerable and unprotected window. Into your house. Or anything. Where you sleep and all. They're probably not even that poisonous. At all. Or maybe just barely.
So I think you're cool.

4. Acutally, their known as East Nashville Garter Snakes.... |
|
...they're everywhere in East Nashville. You just deal with it. Getting rid of them would be like trying to get rid of iguanas in Mexico. Ain't gonna happen.

I'm sorry. I really do believe in the equality of ALL living things, but snakes and spiders still give me the creeps, and in the last two nights I've had nightmares of EACH of them. Last night it was spiders.
