(I made that one up - but it could be real, right?)

5. No...MoFO couldn't be real
If you were to put molybdenum, oxygen and fluorine in a reactor, you'd get a lot of oxygen difluoride and a lot of moly hexafluoride. If you put moly and oxygen in the reactor, you'd get stable moly oxides with no room for any fluorine atoms--but introduce fluorine to the compound, and it will kick all the oxygen atoms off the moly atom.

Yup, Fluorine is the teabagger of the periodic table.
