Did everyone have a fun St Patty's Day?
.
Did anyone do anything monumentally stupid, perhaps to the point of being
historically notable and/or impressive/inspirational?
.
.

1. My dear MiddleFingerMom!
Can't say I did anything nearly as clever as your smiley...

But then, I'm not capable, either!

:P

No one could be asked to give more than you gave last night.

5. Not yet
our local Saint Patrick's Day parade was postponed due to last weekend's major Northeast storm, so it's taking place this Saturday when the weather is going to be perfect. I'll be there with camera, after that it's a corned beef dinner (we couldn't do it Wednesday because I was the only one home).

6. I had Irish Stew for lunch.
I usually have the Corned Beef.

The stew was better.

I realized that I don't REALLY like
corned beef and cabbage. I only eat
it for the carrots...which can be
found in the STEW.

Farewell, corned beef!

7. I was in Portland....
Tried to stay up late enough to have a green beer after midnight (then it would have been St Patty's Day). I didn't make it.

Spent most of the big day in Powell's Bookstore (incredible place, if you've never been) and trying to rest up to fly all night that night.

I think I'm just starting to feel normal again.

11. Yes, actually, but it had naught to do with the holiday.
We have a German law student in our office studying how we do things here. I took him to the shooting range since that's not something he can do back home. He seemed to have a fun time.

It was the first one that I was driven to drink
and not only for St Patty's day. I've been in DC with a local Democratic group, and one of the people in our group was out of touch and refused to do things that people should do on group trips (shower). She drove me so nuts that I was driven to drink. Green Long Island Iced Teas make for good stress releif.
