I really really tried this year, but I am on the bottom of the NCAA brackets again |
|
I am going to start getting calls from head coaches asking me not to pick them soon. "Hi, Rural. Jim Boeheim here. Hey, could you do me a small favor and pick against me this year? You're the kiss of death you know."

2. Show me someone with a perfect bracket now, and I'll show you someone who doesn't know anything |

about basketball. There are probably like ten people in the world who picked everyone, and they are the ones who just joined the office pool because someone made them, and they made their picks while texting their bff about plot holes in Avatar.
Except one guy. Somewhere there's one guy who agonized over every pick, ran a program to match each team's strengths against each other, and ran every possible play sequence in advance, and got it all perfect. Right now he's drinking Dos X and thinking those commercials are about him. Of course, after round two he'll probably leap off a skyscraper in despair.
All of which means, my team lost. :(

the odds of getting a perfect bracket are taking single sheets of paper with different bracket combinations stacked here to the moon and back a lot of times(I forget how many) and with that you'll get one right. Much higher than winning the lottery.

to pull the upsets. Or Cornell - although all of them are sort of exciting since the teen-seeds don't usually get too far.
