But I am familiar with the "Craven Coward" method that folks use by posting in another forum or at another website as if that makes their point. And then all their pals chime in and agree with them, as if they're carrying the day? I see it a lot in one of the forums at Democratic Underground. Can't quite remember which one, though. I find it more amusing than irritating anymore.

it serves to make the people who disagree with them just stop posting, because what's the point? And then they begin to think they must be "right" 'cause hardly anyone "disagrees" with them. When, in fact, a whole hell a lot of other people disagree, but just have better things to do than waste their time trying to have a coherent discussion.
Most of the time when I post to these people, I'm not really talking to them, just getting the info out there for people to read who might not know there IS another side to the equation.
