*sigh* What has happened to common friendliness and goodwill?
There were about 10 guys putting on a new roof down the street. They were sweating and they looked kind of miserable, so I thought I would try to cheer them up.

I walked into the front yard and looked up at the guys. I said hi.

A couple of them said "hey".

I said "nice day".

One guy said "yeah".

Then I said "Watcha guys doing, putting on a roof".

Then one of the guys said "get the fuck outta here".

Then he spit on me.

I was very hurt by this.

1. I thought you were going to say you ventured into GD.
Sorry about the rude roofers -- some people are just jerks.
