Greetings from downtown Grand Rapids.
I visited Gerald Ford's grave yesterday.

Today it is snowing.

Amway owns this city.

2. Their zoo was pretty fun, especially their aviary
They give you popsicle sticks with seeds on them and the songbirds perch on them as you hold it.

4. My brother went to school there at Great Valley State...
.
...and I think had a hand long ago at getting the CEO(?) of Amway
removed from the BOD at the college for something like being under
indictment for tax reasons, but conveniently living in Canada for
whatever the duration was/still is.
.
He was also centrally involved in scheduling a "Blue Movie Night"
as a fundraiser. The school OK'd it... then shut it down at the
last minute for "violation of the morality code" or something.
.
The ACLU got involved and my brother was contacted as a potential
guest on 'The Phil Donahue Show'. MiddleFingerMomMom was mortified...
convinced she would be forever-after known as 'THE MOTHER OF THE
PORN KING OF MICHIGAN
'.
.
They never put him on the show. The ACLU eventually won the case...
albeit YEARS later. At MiddleFingerMomDad's retirement party YEARS
later, the family members greeted and were introduced to a lot of
his peers and co-workers in a reception-line format. He arranged
and pulled this on her. "Oh," said the Texas businessman. "You're
the mother of the Porn King of Michigan".
.
Everybody ELSE thought it was hilarious.

5. Wonder if Weird Beard's Organic Pizza Parlor is still there...
.
...at the end of the L-O-N-G entrance driveway to the college. If
I amember correctly, it was several miles to walk from the dorms
to the nearest beer there at Weird Beard's.
.
But obviously... well worth the effort.

6. Meijer's Sculpture Garden is supposed to be pretty cool
I've never been, but a friend of mine said it was excellent.
