Rolling Stone: Following success of "Avatar," James Cameron plans to remake his remake of "Titanic"
HOLLYWOOD CA - Director James Cameron, fresh from his success with the film "Avatar," revealed his latest project: a remake of his own remake of the film "Titanic."

Cameron told reporters "This has never been done before...no major director of my caliber has ever remade his own remake. It will prove once and for all that there is literally nothing I cannot do."

There were several audible gasps among those present at the press conference when Cameron announced the stars of his film: Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, the couple people love to hate, from the MTV Reality show "The Hills."

"I'm gonna kick DiCaprio's D**K," proclaimed Pratt. When asked about following in the footsteps of Kate Winslet, Montag replied "Well, she's pretty in her own way, I guess, but she's not me, is she?"

"James Cameron's Titanic" is scheduled to open in theaters across the U.S. on Thanksgiving day, 2010.

8. we just watched the directors cut of The Abyss. It was great.
And as much as I had avoided watching Titanic, when I finally saw it (years later) I thought it was very good. He's a highly skilled director.

Now why he needs a remake of a hugely long film I do not know.

11. Because if he DIDN'T make a remake of a too-long film...
Amerigo would have no reason to randomly send people off to watch Rick Astley and the dancing bartender...
