Port wine is very strong

Was it a tawny port?

On Valentine's Day I had a glass with my chocolate-based dessert and it was wonderful. However, I will say that when it comes to port...the more expensive the bottle...the more I like it.

5. If you don't appreciate a good, expensive, Port, please, just give it to someone who does.

I don't appreciate the taste of Port wine, either.

But I am aware that some rich people, with money to waste, buy expensive ports and mix them with 7-up or pepsi. This is blasphemy, when you consider the loving care that went into the bottling and storage of vintage port wines.

I feel strongly about this because I once worked at a wine importer / distributor.

One that I don't have the finances to acquire properly, as I can only usually afford the cheap stuff. :P
