I've just posted a Spring poem in the Writer's Group... |
|
There's a very good reason it's over there... Come have a look... I don't think you'll regret it. http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=216&topic_id=6098

1. My Dear CaliforniaPeggy! |
|
. I'm seeing a recurring theme here lately, of darkness and erotica. . If you feel you're slipping TOO deeply into that, my prescription is daytime outdoor sex. . It'll get you into the light and all that Vitamin D from the sunshine will lift your spirits. . Remember, you'll probably need much more sunblock than usual. . . . Once again a powerful and well-expressed distillate of a powerful moment/experience. . The promise of Spring certainly has you inspired and prolific. .

You know, you're right.....about the recurrent themes, anyway...;)
And as for the daytime outdoor sex?
Well........all I have to say about that... We like our bed.
I thank you for your very kind remarks...
I'm not sure why this season, during this year, has inspired me this much. But it certainly has!
...much more sunblock than usual.

6. No, I don't regret it. |
|
I am blushing however.
I don't think I'll look at a tulip in quite the same light again. :)

I'm glad you don't regret it!
And it doesn't have to be a tulip...
It can be any flower, or no flower...
Metaphors are such fun things!
Blush all you want...we can't see you...
Thank you!
:D

8. Well, maybe, CP...but it's easy to make that kind of statement... |
|
...without knowing the kinds of things I normally regret. I travel to the beat of a different drum, and I might click on that link and my immediate reaction might be "Wow, do I regret THAT."
On the other hand, some things that people wish I would regret...like, oh, let;s say 80 to 85 percent of my posts on DU...
...nah. No regrets there.

Huh?
I must be tired...
I haven't looked to see if you responded yet in the poetry thread...
So, I must ask: Did you like it? Regrets or otherwise!

10. It "shines?" Is it about a robot? Is it written from the P.O.V. of the Tin Man from "Wizard of Oz?" |
|
Just kidding. Very nice. :toast:
