How are you today?

I will be busy today. This morning I have to get into the stack to put back books and get more up for customers and colleagues. Co-worker is out sick with her intervertebral disk. So she can't really do heavy stuff at the moment, even if she were here. Great. Normally she is doing the stack part. Oh well. I will just put on my iPod and start rocking :rofl:
At one point in the afternoon I will be on the phone with an auction house in London, helping a colleague getting a manuscript for his department.
And in the evening I will work at the groceries store.

So sorry in advance if I am not around much today to reply to you.

6. Good Afternoon, MissHoneychurch!

I've got a stomach bug, so I'm working from home today. Which means I can get online :-)

So, the deal is, my department decided to restrict the internet to work only activities because 2 people got really nasty computer viruses (and one of those people got it while doing work related activities). Apparently the correct response is not to update virus protection, but to tell all of us that we can't use the internet during breaks.

It's really not that big a deal, and I'm still around, but now I'm surfing the web on my ipod, which takes a long time to post. So, I'm sort of around but not really.

Anyway, I hope that the fact you are busy means your day will fly by!

I am really lucky that so far they haven't restricted the Internet yet at my work place. I hope it stays that way.

Glad you're better and up and about. :hi: My boss is out sick (he has access from home) for a couple of days.

Stacking and lifting books, eh? Sounds like a free workout.

We're hoping to save our gym in the office building. The company (post-merger) hasn't been subsidizing the fitness company that runs the gym for the past few years. They've decided to close the gym since they aren't making money. We're trying to wake up someone in HR at the corporate level before the last day in May. We're hoping.
