Be careful renting from Blockbuster.
My daughter checked her bank account on-line last night and there was a $32 charge from Blockbuster. She had no idea what this was but it was going to cause her account to overdraw. Management at Blockbuster had left for the day and could tell her nothing besides the fact there was nothing checked out on her account so she called the bank but they said they could do nothing until she talked to Blockbuster. As it turns out around Christmas she had gone to Blockbuster with a friend and he was going to rent a movie and she paid for it. It was on his account but she had used her debit card. That movie got turned in but later he rented two things that he did not turn in. Since her card had been used that ome time it was linked to his account and they charged it. So be careful paying for a movie that it not charged to your account. You may owe unexpectedly in the future.

1. Blockbuster had no authorization to charge her card
She did not enter into an agreement with them to charge her for late/no return fees. She needs to pursue action against them.

I have a debit card, it gets used about 4 times a year.
