Why do you swell up so much every month? I don't mean a little bit - I'm talking going from a flat stomach to looking like I'm 3-4 months pregnant!
What gives? Why the extra 4-5 inches around the middle? Am I going to have to roll to get around when I'm pregnant?
Good LORD!
:sigh:

1. "when" you get pregnant? |
|
So you've resolved to go through with the whole kid production then and not just adopt a used one?

9. You gotta be careful with those used ones. The manufacturers usually won't honor the warranty |

you really aren't into having a baby. It's okay. Motherhood isn't for everybody. Dogs are nice and you don't have to do anything other than love them unconditionally, feed and water them, walk them and clean up their shit. They don't develop attitudes in adolescents, they can't talk back, you don't have to buy them school clothes or pay for school pictures or lunches. No college tuition, wedding costs. Just get a dog and forget about.

My address is 8675309 Jenny Avenue, C/O T. Twotone 81889 München Germany
Be sure to include at least one ultrasound picture (with Gender!) so I can send an appropriate gift and maybe a journal for when the tike gets older and wants to express his or her inner feelings.

12. I totally agree...I do not have children and never wanted children |
|
some people were apalled when I would say it. I am perfectly happy with my doggies even if JRTs can be little scamps.
Bringing a child into the world right now with the state Mother Earth is in just seems unfair. I am glad my nieces and nephews have not given me any great-nieces or great-nephews.

She is one of my truest friends here and I think(like me )she gets misunderstood often. I know her to be a very good person and as real and flawed as all of us. We all have doubts and worries. It doesn't make us crazy or bad it just makes us human. BTW I like you too.You seem to be a really nice person.I mean it. Anyhoo.. I'll let people do what they do here and slink back to my GD.P spf thread//

I just didn't understand the hostility to an honest answer I gave the OP. Like you said we are all human and sometimes things don't come across on a message board as we mean them. Not another word from me on this topic.

We are all a bunch of activist minds looking to activate. I kind of wish this forum was more open so we could all have real enemies to attack instead of each other. Anyhoo.. I Don't hate anyone.I figure if anyone cares enough to post here (minus the trolls) then they really aren't the enemy.Big tent means big tent. :)

every month it's like this, though. Another four inches appears around my middle. Very swollen. Maybe it IS salt! Who knows.
Edit to add: Every month of my period!

I kinda got the feeling from your other post about pregnancy, that you were thinking about doing it. Am I imagining that?

We shall see... ugh. I sort of wish I could cut my head from my body. It would make being a woman graduate school much easier.

BTW: I'm sorry for the repeated posts re: pregnancy. Unfortunately I do not have any good female support in my family, and certainly no good female advice to lean on, so I lean on strangers on the internet.

During the 4 1/2 years of nursing school, which was a university degree, I had 2 children, and one of those was a problematic pregnancy with preterm labor when I had to go on bedrest. I was able to work out an arrangement for work at home and ended up making up a lot of lab work the following semester. It really does help having a supportive partner, I can't stress that enough. I didn't have a whole lot of female support, other than fellow students, but believe me, if you have the will and the determination, you will be able to do it. You do what you have to do, you rely on whatever help can get you through, and you try to enjoy the experience in spite of the trials. It is possible.

Try your best to look forward to pregnancy. A postive outlook helps a lot. It is a truly wonderful experience, even with all the yucky stuff that goes with it. I had a hard pregnancy, but I remember the wonderful things about it mostly. Good luck when you do TTC!
