1. I get the same thing at work.

I talk politics with a right wingnut coworker at times, and a lot of his hate for the Dems comes from his belief that we're coming for his guns. He always looks surprised when I tell him we're not coming for your guns, we don't want your guns, and we have guns, too. (We, as in Dems. Not we, as in me. I don't own any guns or have them in my house.) I tell him that I'm a firm supporter of the Constitution...and that includes, but is not exclusive to, the first AND the second amendments. It really fucks with his head because it goes against his training and his upbringing which, as far as I can tell, is that all stereotypes are true.
