trying to figure out what. Yeah, it's Lady Gaga, and some of you can't handle the modern era, so if you don't want to listen, I'm okay with that. But what does this remind you of? The sound, not the words.

All I can think of is that "What English sounds like to foreigners" song, and a vague impression of Tom Waits, and maybe "Tusk" by Fleetwood Mac. But that's not it.

Yeah, I'm bored at work.

1. I hear the Tusk reference..
In fact it seems somewhat derivative of the African Chants in that song. HOWEVER unlike in Tusk where the chants work together with the music..I find that to be an annoying distraction- in fact, its a good reinforcement of my dislike of Lady Gaga. I could NOT listen to that all the way through.

2. Huh. I liked it.
We have a different opinion on music. Go figure. :)

Yeah, it's not a very original song in general, very derivative. If you listen to the first minute, you got the whole thing.

3. That reminds me of a lot of stuff actually.
Specifically the background chant thing reminds me of Malcom McLaren's About Her... it also reminds me of something off the O Brother, Where Art Thou soundtrack. Can't think of what though.
