Well, that was a wash.

So, yesterday I tried to send the kids on an errand in my little car, but the battery was almost dead. Terminals pretty cruddy (battery is really old too) so today husband cleaned them off, topped the water, replaced the clamp that broke in his hand (just inevitable around here) and put the charger on it around 3 pm. Oh, and we tested it and it started great.

Cut to 6 pm.

Starts raining and I go to leave for a meeting this evening...something off the negative terminal starts smoking and it didn't want to turn over now. Sigh.

Oh well better here than some dark parking lot in town in the rain. Manana.

Now I can play on DU all night for a change.:eyes: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :party:

it really came down there for about 10 minutes. While we were outside, of course. Been raining in town? My dad up in Phx said they got a half inch today.

so I couldn't take the truck, because I still haven't ordered the register for the driver's side window (that's the thingy that rolls the glass up and down) and the glass is still sitting on a table on the porch. Don't even ask about the van. (no wipers, muffler falling off, big radiator leak)

I hate motor vehicles. Have I ever mentioned that?
