How are you today?

It is another busy day here. But the sun is shining and the temps are rising in the higher 50s. Ahhhh spring :D

Work at the groceries store was strange yesterday evening. Either I was in a funny mood or the customers were nutz. I think the second. It wasn't really something I could put my finger on but the over all mood was strange.
Have to work tomorrow evening again, I hope it will be better then.

I think today after work I will buy me some spring flowers for my balcony. I need some color there. Primroses, violas. Colorful flowers :D

Uh-oh ... I just got interviewed for a radio show about our library :blush: That was my second interview ever. The first was an interview for a newspaper in Savannah during my internship there. Today was my first for a spoken interview. Oh boy. I do NOT want to listen to that on the radio.

Yes, I am off this weekend. Asked for it. So that is why I have to work during the week. Going to visit my mom.

It was more surprising than exciting. Thrown into the cold water so to speak. We will get an mp3 from the story. The guy interviewed my boss too of course.
The problem is I normally talk fast. I am not sure my speak speed is alright for the radio. That is why I am :scared:

3. Oh, I'm sure you did just

fine, otherwise the interviewer would have slowed you down, started over, etc. You'll definitely have to archive it.

Fresh flowers really sounds like a good idea. Daffodils and crocuses are beginning to peak out of the ground, but a nice bouquet of fresh flowers would be so uplifting.

I bought semen for strawberries and some herbs. Ahhh .... there will be live on my balcony again :D

You are right, it is job security. Still it seems that the work load has gotten more over the last years.

Yes, my boss and I got interviewed. It was strange. I had no chance to prepare. So I was stuttering a bit in between. Oh well. I hope he only uses soundbites. :rofl:

Too often, the interviewers are also unprepared and talk about everything other than your job or field of study.

When will the interview be broadcast and will you have to walk around with a bag on your head because you will be recognized because of the interview?

and about customers and what our library offers. Pretty broad stuff.

The interview will be broadcasted coming weekend. Good thing I am out of town :rofl: The channel is a small one. So I doubt I will be recognized.:rofl:
