I feel bad for Sandra Bullock
She wins Best Actress and her good news is totally eclipsed by her philandering assbag of a husband.

3. Me, too, but I suspect she'll easily find that she needs him less than he needs her.
Or at least her money and fame. She's tough, smart, and rich--I suspect she'll survive. Not that I don't feel for the pain she's going through. :(

4. i don't...who even knew she was still alive 4 weeks ago?
wouldn't be a bit surprised if the whole thing wasn't a publicity bit, just like winning the worst actress and the best actress (for movies nobody saw) all in the same 48 hours

a month ago she was a has-been...now? not so much

it isn't too say that i don't believe her hubby was fooling around, i'm sure he was, but who made sure it was all in the news if not for bullock's publicist?

don't be naive, gossip media is manipulated and all w. an eye toward getting our attention

But then, I forgot, any woman over 35 is a "has been" according to some people.

Sandra Bullock was no has been. She has a lot of fans. Her movies may have been crap, but people still paid to go see them. And I am quite sure she is humiliated. She doesn't need the publicity.

where she's been doing quite a bit of charity work without having the cameras follow her around 24/7 like Brad Pitt, and in fact, recently bought a house in the Garden District, which, come to think of it, is no longer occupied by a male... :loveya:

37. I disagree.
I think he lost an opportunity to share his life with a quality woman who obviously adored him. That would be everything to some men. He threw it in the crapper for Tits McGee, or whatever the hell that skank's name is.

I doubt, very seriously, that Jesse James will see the likes of Sandra Bullock again. And his life will be diminished much more than hers.

7. The public humilation involved with --
telling a billion or so people how much your love for your husband has meant to you and how he is the first man to really have your back -- followed within days by the very public reveal of his cheating -- man, that has got to hurt as much as the fact that he is a cheating son of a bitch.

I have always liked Sandra a great deal -- she's maybe not the strongest actress out there, but incredibly likeable and accessable both onsreen and off.

I hope this passes quickly and she moves on to better. MUCH better.

49. That's what I was thinking as well. It was one hell of a kick in the gut
when it should have been one of the better times in her life. Beautiful, strong, successful women always have a tough time finding a man who is secure enough to be with them. I guess that James wasn't one of those men.

She apparently loves his three children very much,
especially the 6-year old that they had full custody of.

That is probably tearing her apart more than his cheating.

It's that someone she loved betrayed her and the public exposure of that is causing her great embarrassment at a time when she should be celebrating her accomplishment.

11. I feel bad for her, too.
By all appearances over the years, she's one of the "good ones". She seems to always be one of the first to donate to tragedies, etc., and I like her movies.

She seemed to wait a long time to find "real" love only to have the asswipe screw around on her.

I hope she does ultimately find someone she can love and trust.

14. If you have ever been...
part of the third party in a custody battle you know how
heartbreaking it is to have a situation like this at hand.

Being 'the grandparents' as our son and his ex battled in court and
only wanting what was best for the grandson, we might slightly
understand the panic that Sandra feels as she makes decisions for the
future that include the best for Jesse James' children.

The courts really did do the best by our grandson...We hope for the best for all concerned in Sandra Bullocks' future.

29. I kinda like her also
I mean she is pretty, nonoffensive, etc. But do I have any idea what sort of person she is? No. Maybe she wanted a bad boy, with all the stuff that entails. Jimminy, his last wife was a porn star. So maybe she knew what she was getting into and he is being a gentleman and falling on his sword. After all those strippers with nasty tattoos fell on his sword, so to speak.

Anyway, I don't really care but I will allow myself to be amused at her misfortune.

http://www.monstersandcritics.com/people/news/article_1533480.php/Sandra-Bullock-s-pubic-hair-Valentine-s-Day-nightmare

Why she would admit to that, I'll never understand.

But clearly, it was an effort to "spice things up" for the guy who evidently wasn't into her any longer.

like that in high school. ;)

Heartbreak hurts no matter how rich and famous you are. Doesn't help that she publicly said she never knew what it felt like for someone to have her back until him and then BAM!! A week later, he is the Tiger Woods of March. I do like her. She has made some crap movies, but she has a sense of humor about them. For instance, when she accepted her Razzie (proudly might I add), she handed out movies to everyone of the Razzie worthy movie. She doesn't seem to take herself too seriously and I like that about her. She does have one strike against her though.... She used to mess with my man Matthew McConaughey!!! BAck off!
