6. It will also be featured on Facebook, for those who wish to read it there.
I'm debating whether to publish it on the Chuggo fan page.

4. Thomas Hardy is my least favorite author
That man was depressed and so was I after being forced to read him in high school. He damn near single handedly turned me off of classical literature. I can take just so much fatalism without a cause. It never made sense. Why write about everything turning to shit.

i actually liked the guy, there's just so many happy endings i can stand, esp. at an age (adolescence/early 20s is when i read him) when i can see that happy endings are not gonna happen for everybody and i'm sick of the lies

everything doesn't have to be for everybody, but people who have had dark experiences and who have become fatalism didn't need to be completely shut out of being able to express themselves

"perky" isn't just irritating, it's boring and dishonest

before hardy apparently you couldn't even mention that women were forced to have sex/have babies against their will outside of marriage, it isn't just the language that makes so much of 1800s lit seem so annoying, it's all the dishonesty and lies

10. Why write about everything turning to shit? Why write about everything turning out ok?
Some of us find perfect endings to be as fucking annoying as you find the shitty ones.

There's room for both, and everything in between.

11. Actually, there will be only one DUer whose name will be in it.
And once you find out who it is, you will probably be able to guess what becomes of him/her.

Although my original plans were for a mad cap riot Tale of WTFery type of story with dozens of DUers playing a role. But I soon realized I'd just be ripping off the Strange One, and who would want that?

The humor will be what you might characterize as "subtle", but DU's imprint will undeniably be present.
