My latest boycotting effort will be with the cable channel TLC

When I read (with some degree of certainty) that the Learning Channel will be broadcasting "Sarah Palin's Alaska", that was it.

I am sure Alaska is one of the most beautiful states in the US, but I do not want is filtered by or forever associated with a woman who thinks telling people they should "reload" on their opponents, as well as using rifle crosshairs on her SARAHPAC map to show 'targeted' opponents. This a violence oriented mentality I think of as inapppropriate. I am a teacher and school administrator, and try to promote peace and respect. I can no longer remain silent.

I think we must speak out and loudly if anything is to change.

I will be writing a letter to TLC soon.

Is anyone with me?

5. Without TRYING to boycott both Discovery & TLC, I never ever watch them

because there is nothing on them to draw me. They're always about something like (I don't know what). Very occasionally, there has been some ancient history thing on Discovery but it has always been done previously on The History Channel, which did its own Shrub-crotch-sniffing after 9-11.

7. Ironic that a channel called The LEARNING Channel would choose someone so stupid

to host a show. And Sarah Palin is the antithesis of Alaska IMHO. Alaska is a beautiful, wild, amazing place where people work hard. Sarah Palin is, well, Sarah Palin.
