when I have to listen to them on a conference call trying to solve a problem it is very painful - let's just say they take three times longer than what I can remember "back in the day"

is local, fills a genuine business need, and has excellent marketing support.
it's a tough business. but companies ARE spending money.
you have to align yourself with a lean, aggressive company with as little overhead as possible and concentrate on generating revenue for the company rather than just a paycheck.
