4. It only adds insult to injury, because that "Rarities" album was junk.
The majority of "rare" tracks were culled from readily-available Stones albums.

5. And they probably included one or two tracks collectors wanted,
to guarantee sales to the market of collectors and hard-core fans who have to have everything. In general my feeling about "rare tracks" is that they are rare for the reason that nobody wants much to listen to them anyway. Those "new" Beatles tracks a few years back (I think they were "Real Love" and "Free as a Bird")... are people clamoring to listen to them now?
