It's driving me CRAZY! The Pronunciation of "Epithet"...

I have a real major problem with the lack of correct pronunciation of the word "Epithet"!

YOU ENUNCIATE THE "TH" IN THE THIRD SYLLABLE!

Lawrence O'Donnell just "mispronounced" the word, and he ain't the only one!

(I know this post is poorly worded; forgive me I've had a couple of cocktails!)

1. Tell people that it's not e-piss-et. It's e-pith-et
Then use the word pithy, then shorten it to pith. Then say "I wouldn't pith on him if he was on fire" and they'll laugh and remember it forever.
