18. David Peel and the Lower East Side
And this is why...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eI65nh52LnE&feature=related

Something tells me the parents of today's sequestered youth wouldn't be real happy about their kids playing their fake little guitars to the tune of "I Like Marijuana."

A guy at Goodfellow AFB played me the entire David Peel album, and I wish I would have hardtaped it for posterity, because the last song on the album is Peel announcing he was going to run for president on the Pot Party ticket...whose platform included such things as requiring all Americans to smoke weed and declaring the clap a childhood disease.

on edit:

http://news.softpedia.com/news/Rock-Band-Gets-Nine-Inch-Nails-90395.shtml

The Nine Inch Nails 3-pack includes the tracks Burn (the song which put everybody under its spell after being chosen for the Natural Born Killers soundtrack), Capital G (the beloved track from the band's fifth album), Year Zero and Last (from the Broken EP).

i had no idea. and on top of that the last 2 songs are literally top 5 faves, Burn was pretty cool, video was awesome.

thanks for letting me know. i would have otherwise never known. don't own or play rock band.
