Ugh. Here's what I HATE about Naked drinks: Banana puree. |
|
No matter WHAT the drink is, if they include even a hint of banana, that's all you're tasting.
This is why Odwalla is the far superior choice. Straight from a juicer - even better.

But you're right, there's a problem if every drink tastes like banana.

2. I like bananas on their own, but not so much smoothied. |
|
For instance, the one I'm having now: The "Green Machine". Supposedly has 2.5 apples, 1/3 kiwi, 1/3 mango, hints of pineapple, spinach, wheat grass, parsley, ginger, etc. But what's the overwhelming flavor? That 1/2 a banana . . . over everything.

3. I like juicered fruit drinks, but you're right. I always leave the banana out. Eat it separately. |
|
Bananas are great for you. In fact, God made them perfectly peelable and perfectly sized to fit right down your gagging throat 4000 years ago. But it's a flavor that doesn't blend. So eat that banana separately and have your juicered drink without it.

5. Yeah, and bananas are not my favorite fruit so I hate that. |
|
Plus they make the drink too thick. Yuck.

6. All their drinks are that way too. |
|
What they also don't tell you is that each bottle is 2 servings, so you're drinking more sugar than Red Bull.
