His true and actual name is Michael Weiner.

The Savage Weiner highlight reel: when confronted by GLBT activists, he shouted, on air, "You should only get AIDS and die!" (This from a man who wrote mash notes to Allen Ginsberg back in grad school. :eyes: ) Also, he infamously claimed that children with autism were "faking it" and that they "just needed a daddy". :grr: (Disclaimer: I was once a child with autism.)

There's claims that he's divested from it, but I still steer clear of that stuff.

He's acting like some sort of martyr because he's supposedly "banned in Britain" in that they don't want him to go there and spout his hate speech. He buys ads on his affiliate stations begging for donations to his "legal defense fund" and selling some book he wrote about it. He had a "bargain" on his book... buy one full price, you can buy another for $14.95, and you'd get a 3rd one FREE. Like one copy isn't one too many...

But he's filled with hate for just about everyone. Especially "illegal immigrants" and Obama. And himself, evidently.

His son runs the company, but has nothing to do with dear old dad, and in fact has made large cash donations to GLBT equality groups in recent history.

I swear, I could start a radio program tomorrow and become an instant hit (and millionaire) by just using a random hate-word generator. All I would have to do is have a machine blurting out words like Pelosi, Reid, socialism, Obama, Marxism, tyranny, Kenya, communism, birth certificate, etc.. without even having them in any context. Sentences and paragraphs wouldn't be necessary. All the right wingers want are the red meat words they can chew on and devour without thought, without question and without any idea what they mean. If you listen to any of the right wing radio shows they pepper their programs with these words to enrage their very gullible audiences.
