Which you usually do. :-) I found this because I wondered about the longitudinal striations I have on my fingernails. I learned that this is relatively "normal" with aging. :-(

did well in anatomy knew EXACTLY what your subject line was
a year and a half ago I lost two nails in an unfortunate teenager-helping-change-a-tire incident. They both grew back nicely.

On edit: Come to think of it, I don't have the little half moons at the base of my nails as most do. I never have.
