2. Go to your control panel, then Appearance, then Adjust Screen |
|
Resolution. You should find a bar in there (no, NOT a drinking bar :) ), and drag the bar to the right. Hit apply, and another window should pop up. Click "Yes" on that, and your resolution should be back to normal.

I put the cursor in the top right corner and some of the tool bar thingies showed back up.
Then I minimalized (everything was back to normal) and then maximized that and now all is better.

5. That is strange, but then, sometimes computers do strange |
|
things. Saturday for some reason, my computer reset the date to 3/3/01. WTF? The only way to change the time or date is to actually click on the date/time and manually change it (except for DST and ST), so I have no idea what in the world cause that to happen.

6. We stopped using the Firefox |
|
several IT people we talked to said that Firefox is not as safe as it used to be-enough people now use it to make it worthwhile for scummy virus writers to attack.
I am sure they are great people and all but apparently they and Microsoft aren't sharing what they are doing because (shocker here) Microsoft wants to much money for their info.
We got knocked out by a virus two months ago.
For now IE is doing fine.

7. This happened to me about |
|
2 months ago and I STILL haven't figured it out! Have "harassed" ex-hubby, who is a major geek, to help fix it, to no avail If there are any solutions/ideas, I am open to them.
