It seems that there’s trouble in the fairytale romance of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt: OK! has learned that the reality starlet has walked out on her husband after fewer than 18 months of marriage.

Things have been rocky between the pair recently, and Heidi even fired Spencer briefly as her manager two weeks ago.

But, according to sources, now it’s their personal relationship that’s breaking down.

It’s not yet clear what caused the split. But according to an insider, Heidi hates having to admit that her Spencer-loathing former best friend, Lauren Conrad, had a point about her blonde beau.

But adds the pal: “She was right, he is a selfish jerk.”

Another source close to the couple confirmed: “She’s moving out of her house and away from Spencer.”

Spencer is said to be living at the L.A. home alone, while Heidi is staying with friends.

MTV has not responded to OK!’s request for comment at this time.

I didn't know who either of them was until I had tv on one night and that piss-awful TMZ was on and these two were on some survival show or something. that's when I found out about them.

they're no different than a thousand other worthless assholes in LA who have too much money and not enough else about them to matter.

So, we can bomb LA whether these two are there are not. just make sure you hit the gyms and not the museums.

Heidi also admits she’s now “very scared” of birth control. “I feel like God was telling me that this was something just created by the government that is really bad for my body, and I was just getting sick,” she says. “I researched it, and one of the founding people who invented birth control said it was the worst thing they had ever done, they wished they’d never created it..."
