Question about unfriending someone on facebook
If you unfriend someone on Facebook will he/she notice? I want to unfriend this person, but I also want to do it very quietly, such that he/she will not be likely to notice. This person has several hundred friends on FB, so I am thinking that my departure won't be noticed if it is done quietly.

5. they won't get a notice or anything
you'll just stop appearing in their update threads, and if they think to look you up, they'll just get your "public" page.

you could block them, and you'll basically disappear from their view, even if you post on the pages of mutual friends. It will basically look like you quit facebook, except it may scrub any past postings from their page.
