I got my new bike!!!!!

I love it! It's heavy for my city commuting but there are many bad roads and great trails near my home, so it all evens out.

1. Wow, is it a Harley? BMW? ...
...um, oh. :-(

Seriously, looks like a bike to deal with all kinds of roads. Cool shock absorber. I just got my Cannondale "tuned-up" for the warm weather.

B-) :hi:

2. Thanks!
A few people have asked me if the shock eats up energy as I climb hills. I'm like, I havent ridden a bike in 20 years, I have no idea! My thinking is that'll just help the weight come off faster, if I have to do a little extra work.

4. My bike has kind of motorcycle lines to it:

This is not my bike, but is pretty much like it. Mine has fenders and a bag on the back. I do have a clear fairing for it, but haven't used it for a few years.

I had it out today and riding against a very stiff wind is not bad on a recumbent since it has a lower wind resistance. It's a fun bike and very, very comfortable on the butt and back, plus no pressure on the wrists.
