4. I fell in love with this show some time ago. It pains me to say that it is getting a little tedious

at this point. Last week's ep with Richard or Ricardo or what ever the hell his name is is this time period, was just boring. God, it was torture to watch. I kept wanting to fold clothes. Only thing that stopped me is that I'd have had to wash and dry them first. I wasn't that bored.

Haven't started watching tonight's episode yet, but I really really hope I don't have to focus on Jin for the entire hour. Not so much because it's Jin, but because it will mean we have a few dedicated episodes to other big characters in a now-foreseeable pattern that just stinks up the room. I don't want next week's episode to be about any one character. I want it to blow the roof off the entire, currently-accepted premise. Don't make the last few episodes predictable. This ain't Mary Tyler Moore, you know?

6. I agree about tonight. This is worse than the Jack flying a kite & nailing Bai Ling episode.

I loved the Richard episode. Tonight is entirely sucking. They screwed up killing off Keamy four weeks ago and then showing him tonight. There's just no suspense. They needed to have Jin and Sun fighting to see each other on Island and fighting for their lives in the flash side time. The whole suspense is, will they get to the bank before it closes. That five minute close up of Sun's boobs was excruciating.

30. I've actually been underwhelmed...

...by all of the final season episodes so far. The whole "flash sideways" thing is kind of interesting but I actually think that so far this has been the most boring season yet. The last few episodes and the finale had better be doozies.

I've been involved with way too many men who wanted to play the "caretaker" role. It's a big red flag for me now, which is why Jack makes me twitch.

But Sun and Jin are two of my favorite characters, so an episode that's mostly about them? I'm totally down.

But then I've loved Matthew Fox ever since "Party of Five". He was a troubled caretaker on that show too.

This stuff should have happened before the temple, before Sawyer set up the clash between MIB & Widmore. The characters are dragging this out. They should be having wall to wall action, Widmore bringing out the big guns, Smokey killing underlings, and Egyptian deities popping up out of the statue ruins at this point. It's all talk. And the flash sideways stuff was just boring. Sun makes a bank run. Yawn.

15. yeah, I thought Ben's sideways and Richard's sideways were important

Ben's alt time span completed his character redemption arc. Richard's alt timespan gave us what the island is all about and why they're there. Jin's episode seemed like a complete waste of time. Which is a shame since past Jin and Sun episodes are usually very good. However, you're right that this is the time for the wall to wall action to start. Last week set it up perfectly for a fat pitch down the middle this week and they totally whiffed.

I'm not happy about Widmore turning out to be a good guy, which I totally called three weeks ago.

I still think Smokey kills Widmore & his people (except maybe Zoe, who I find to be boring, despite how adorable she is). The final conflict will be the Losties vs Smokey. Assuming they ever actually get to the final showdown. After tonight's filler episode, I'm not sure there's ever going to be a showdown, just more yakkity-yak about good, evil, and more "You're not really Locke are you?" non-revelations.

but too much filler not enough action. if this wasn't the final season i'd say this was a good ep, but with such little time i would have liked to have seen the focus elsewhere - and more moving forward of the island plotline. durn final season! :P

he goes "I'm gonna strap you in here in case you figure you what's about to happen "to ya i can"'t have ya freakin out". but the way he said it it did sound like the island - i think is how he drew the "to-ya-ican" all together in one breath, then finished the sentence. the actor who plays keamy speaks kinda odd at times - least he did on Stargate SG-1.
