I have no idea how to read or write music either.

Have you any idea how frustrating this is?

It's like I have no mouth and I must scream.

1. I suck at writing songs
I hum into the 'voice record' on my phone and then figure it out later or take it to my buddy and have him help me.

I wrote a song called 'Bosnian Sniper Fire' that way. It's pretty cool to have it go from my voice recorder to a 9 piece recording.

3. All knowledge is attainable
and with modern techniques you don't really have to be able to play an instrument.

If you want to do it on the cheap, download a copy of finale notepad, its free, spend some time learning how to read and write the various note names and go to town. Sooner or later you will match what is in your head with what comes out.

Writing music is actually very easy. Writing good music however, not so easy, but can be learned. It is a craft really more than an art.

4. Dude you can totally take music lessons
They cost money but consider it a mental health cost or perhaps hire someone musician who needs work. I highly encourage all endeavors into being able to express oneself creatively.

5. I was just thinking about that.
I was reading an article about a musician and how she writes her songs and goes about the production.

Feels really outside my scope.

Maybe if I actually gave it full effort.
