Lost W2.....Need Help


Thanks in advance...


My wife tossed one of her W2 last week in the gar-baage...... I have her very last paycheck stub which all of the income/tax numbers matched up with the W2......tonight I sat down to do the taxes and realized I do not have the EIN number(employer tax ID #)....are there any online resources where I can get this number...

did she work there last year? have the records from then?

Can you call them in the morning? shouldn't be a big deal.

2. Human resources at her company can easily fax you a new one.
Both my company and my husband's have the information online courtesy of ADP, but seriously. It's no big deal. My daughter didn't get hers in the mail this year and it was no trouble getting one.
