They say customer service isn't what it used to be, but telling someone to go to another store? WTF?
I went to the mall today because I needed to buy a pair of shoes (interview tomorrow and the ones I usually wear were pretty worn out). I wanted to get a pair of Easy Spirit pumps (that's what I had before, and they lasted me a relatively long time).

I found out one of the local malls has an Easy Spirit stores, so I went in. There was no one there; I mean, it was empty. A sales associate came out from the back and asked if there was anything I was looking for. I said, "Yes, I'm looking for a pair of black or navy pumps to wear with a navy suit. I have an interview tomorrow." He showed me one pair, but I didn't care for it (patent leather and had a buckle on it...not my taste and I wanted something simple). I saw a pair on display that I was interested in trying on. Before I could even ask the guy, he goes, "Well, I suggest you go to Nine West. They're owned by Easy Spirit as well." Um....huh? Then, he goes to the back. I thought he was kidding. I waited for a while, and he never came back out. WTF?

Well, I walked my merry little self to Macy's and bought a pair of Navy blue Easy Spirits there (surprised by how helpful the shoe salesman was there). they cost $10 more, but the guy was helpful and didn't blow me off. I also bought a pair of black Aerosole pumps at DSW Warehouse.

I emailed Easy Spirit to let them know what happened.

These are the Easy Spirit shoes I bought:

1. Those are cute!
I wear Easy Spirit all the time! I get them at Macy's, too, because they're cheaper than Nordstroms!

:fistbump:

2. In the movie, Miracle on 42nd Street, the Macy's santa
suggested to the parents to buy a toy at Gimbles because Macy's didn't have it, and the other stores suggested Macy's likewise...all in the spirit. Very nice shoes by the way. I like them simple myself.

5. Then stay out of Home Depot - NOBODY there works in "my department".
Besides, last I heard Home Depot was still advertising on Beckkk's show.

6. I've told people to try other stores before... but only AFTER trying all
the other options.
