1. If it's not a joke, then hoo boy
This may top the failure pile in a sadness bowl. Still, I might want to eat it once out of curiosity.

I wouldn't be surprised if they actually introduced this. They did create the Vomit Bowl, after all.

32. Well, someone veganized turducken and Cheddar cheese, so anything's possible
On the vegan Cheddar cheese: I was flipping around the internets looking for Cheddar cheese recipes...for some bizarre reason I want to build a cheese press once I reach the Northwest. I found this...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3FYduSF-dw

Contains agar, tomato paste, raw cashews, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, tahini, miso, onion powder, salt, garlic powder and dry mustard.

If you follow his example exactly the recipe also contains teflon shards, because you're supposed to stir the product with the tines of a steel fork.

This might be good, but to me it looks more like it belongs on the list of things you're not allowed to feed prisoners of war.

33. I've done similar things minus the tomato. And the teflon.
Other than color I'm not sure what the tomato paste is supposed to add. As far as cheese that contains no actual cheese goes, I'm a big fan of this stuff. http://www.daiyafoods.com/

And I'm responsible for unleashing vegan turducken on the world. Well, flvegan helped.

44. I saw "Veggie Crumbles" in the store once...
This is supposedly vegetarian cheese, right? Ingredient number two: casein.

I figure if you're going to eat a vegetarian cheese whose second-most-prevalent ingredient is made from milk, you may as well go back to the Dairy department and get a brick of the real thing.

45. I think those are supposed to be for people with lactose intolerance.
But I've never really figured out why a manufacturer would make something like that and not actually make it dairy free so they could sell to vegans and dairy allergic people and have a much larger potential market.

49. I went back to the video...
The miso and tomato paste are used, as you suspected, to turn it yellow. (Which is strange you'd put it in there in the first place, because Cheddar is actually SUPPOSED to be a white cheese! And it seems to me that a vegan white cheddar would taste better than this guy's tomato aspic.)

Skinless filets - drryyy. Better to get the grilled, recognizable chicken, and do the coleslaw for your side. I'm no food prude, but those are the best tasting things on the menu, too. Maybe they should swap out the erzatz corn on the cob side for some red beans and rice, a'la Popeye's

Where Lisa and Abe are complaining about being too young/old and that no one listens to them.

Then Homer pipes in that he's a white male, age 18 to 49 and how everyone listens to him - no matter how dumb the idea.

Then he pulls out a can of Nuts and Gum.

And I've been making those "Mashed Potato Bowls" at home for many years to take to
work for lunch. Frozen green peas mixed in with the mashed potatoes, small chunks
of boneless chicken breast on top, and some shredded cheddar or swiss on top (maybe
some ranch or French dressing). Heat it up n' eat it up for lunch. Tasty.

They should use 3 of the breasts arranged to form a hollow triangle and held together with strips of bacon acting as support hoops. The hollow cavity would be lined with sliced cheese and filled with either ranch dressing or barbeque sauce.

Some college age kids sitting around the TV see that, they have a laugh, one of them dares the other to try it, so they all go down to KFC, and KFC makes money on potato wedges and soda.

It's like Wendy's triple baconator or whatever the hell they call it. Many of the fast food places have some ridiculous novelty menu item.

55. Breathe a little easier. None of them are actually Pizza Huts
I did the same search you did.

A is Ristorante Pizzeria Villa Irma. Description contains the words The Dominoes, HTTP Dominos, HTTP Dominos Pizza...Pizza Hut, Olive Garden Restaurant...

B is Pizzeria La Montecarlo. "If you come here looking for NY, Chicago or Pizza Hut, this is not for you."

C is Il Brillo Parlante. Not certain if I want to eat in a place that has "brillo" in the title, but their pizza is "not thick (like pizza hut's)..."

D is Il Pomodorino Srl, where a reviewer said "The calzonelli was good, although my Pizza Hut-wired American brain probably wanted some tomato sauce with the ham and cheese."

E is Comito, which has all the same tags as A up there does.

F is Studio Tecnico Geom Alfredo Rotondo--same tags as E.

G is Volpetti-Pizzeria, of which is said "they don't use pizza sauce, or deep pan dishes, etc....if you are looking for NY style or Pizza Hut you're in the wrong country."

H is Al 34, where the reviewer complains of stupido Americano whp seem to love Pizza Hut rather than good Italian food. Incidentally, there is probably an Italian translation for "gut bomb" but I don't know what it is; Italians are not born with a "knowing how to cook" gene. The maternal side of my mom's family is Italian, so trust me on this.

I is Camponeschi Antonio Trattoria Tritone, which has "atmosphere equivalent to a Pizza Hut in the US and the service (is) non-existent.

J is Ristorante da Primo, which has the same tags as A.

They do not appear to have any actual Pizza Huts in Rome. OTOH, they have seventeen of them in France. I looked at the menu, and a French Pizza Hut is more like a regular European-owned pizza house than it is like a Pizza Hut. For one thing, Europeans don't buy one big-ass pizza and stick it in the middle of the table for everyone to pull slices off. In Europe, everyone at the table gets their own pizza. And the desserts they have! Man, I was kinda looking for the Television Chocolate thing Willy Wonka had...except this would be Television French Desserts.
