3. I know, I'm a dork bot, but I thinks I finally got it!

I try to post articles I think are interesting to the crowd here and have been hiding behind not knowing how to do perform this handy task by just posting the whole thing. I learn this morning that such a practice may be a copyright infraction of some kind and this motivated me to finally...insist on learning how to link. Cuz I luvz m' DU and wouldn't want anyone to have trouble on account of me and my remedial computer skills.

copy and paste the link is all you need = DU automatically shortens if if it is huge

all I got was an address that is just like body copy, it hadn't been linking until after brackets were added.
