I have a friend who still uses WebTV. Should I buy him a rotary phone? |

Honestly. How do I drag this guy into the century? Every time he wants to tell me about a cool site he found on the interwebs, he describes the link but doesn't actually give it to me.
Who knew that WebTV even still existed?!?

1. I started out with WebTv back in the early 90s and it worked just fine for me. |

Eventually the dialup was the killer, just too slow. But it was great for basic email and surfing the web and no worry about getting a virus. It is possible to send a link using WebTv. Maybe a WebTv is all your friend needs or wants.
I do think there is a newer version of WebTv that is not dialup, but why pay both WebTv and an ISP both when computers are so inexpensive. When I first had a computer and used MSN as my ISP they threw in WebTv for free so that was good. It was nice when I had a computer problem when it would not work that I could use the actually MSNtv to find help.
