What's your earworm today, Loungers?
This one's been in my head half the day:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJOGq5XTojo

Ah, Smashing Pumpkins... That one really take me back, like all the way to middle school.

Of course, this one's been buzzing around in my head the other half of the day:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8KQmps-Sog

So what's playing in YOUR head today, Loungers?

As the Lounge's resident Pumpkinhead and defender of all things Corgan, I hereby salute your earworm! (The first one, that is, although Muse is decent).

Better than me--someone posted the lyrics to Fernando by ABBA and now I have that shitastic excuse for music in my head. Could we trade?

I really don't want to say how many times I have listened to this song since I first heard it a few weeks ago. The whole song is pretty awesome, but as soon as he starts talking about his second cousins, things go to a whole new level of imagery.

31. I don't have one today, but a few days ago I somehow got infected with
"She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy". I had to google it to make sure it was actually a song. I didn't know where it came from because I don't listen to country. A few days later I heard it on tv advertising some kind of special contest at one of the nearby casinos. Mystery solved.

36. Red Dwarf Theme....
Ever since our son bought us one of those Blu-Ray thingy's that picks up Netflix..
we have been perusing the British TV shows and now we are all singing the theme song from Red Dwarf...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTEpiFcn0wI

The theme song was composed by Howard Goodall and sung by Jenna Russell.
The words are:

It's cold outside, there's no kind of atmosphere
I'm all alone, more or less
Let me fly far away from here
Fun, fun, fun in the sun, sun, sun

I want to lie shipwrecked and comatose
Drinking fresh mango juice
Goldfish shoals nibbling at my toes
Fun, fun, fun in the sun, sun, sun
Fun, fun, fun in the sun, sun, sun

I'll pack my bags and head into hyperspace
Where I'll succeed at time-warp speed
Spend my days in ultraviolet rays
Fun, fun, fun in the sun, sun, sun

We'll lock on course straight through the universe
You and me and the galaxy
Reach the stage where hyperdrive's engaged
Fun, fun, fun in the sun, sun, sun
Fun, fun, fun in the sun, sun, sun...

The Tikkis
