2. I forgot about that one...
...didn't see Brothers & Sisters, but the ER role was particularly heart-wrenching, and a difficult one to play. She played it well and deserved the Emmy.

and she was nominated for an Oscar for it, but Sissy Spacek won the Oscar for "Coal Miner's Daughter." "Ordinary People" did win 4 Oscars, including writing, Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor (Timothy Hutton) and Best Director (Robert Redford).
