Toeby, our mitten type kitten, didn't eat yesterday. His breathing sounded labored. He was coughing/sneezing and had no appetite. His eyes were glassy. Paul went to take him to the vet this morning. Toeby wasn't pleased. He howled and hissed and wouldn't go inside the cat carrier. To show his displeasure he peed all over the place. Finally got him to the vet. He had a fairly high temperature so they gave him some antibiotics.
I hope whatever it is leaves him alone soon. I miss the cuddles.

He's just laying in the cabinet in the bathroom. He lifts his head to see what's going on if someone opens the door, but then puts it right back down.

so that he and you and Paul can cuddle together again!
Getting a cat into the cage and to the vet can be quite an experience. There was my aunt with her Maine coon mix on the way to the vet. In the car, he escaped from the cage and jumped on my aunt's head as she was driving, embedding his claws in her scalp, his tail swishing back and forth in front of her face, pretty much blinding her. This was during summer and there was my aunt poking along, looking like Davy Crockett in a sun dress.
With best wishes for you and teh kitteh!

Antibiotics usually take about 24 - 48 hours to work. Hopefully he'll feel better soon, and be cuddling again, poor guy.
